Experience

For 20+ years I have worked in both health and human services with a wide range of experience providing compassionate care to people going through difficult life challenges. My time working in the nonprofit sector in Los Angeles, New York, and Denver, encouraged me to get my Masters Degree in Counseling so that I could take my skill set of helping others on the field to a more personal level, counseling individuals to get to the heart of why they are struggling.

Through my direct mental health counseling, I have helped women facing unexpected pregnancies, divorce, and other major life transitions, managed a 24/7 helpline for crisis situations, and trained new counselors. I also served at a church-based counseling center where I worked with both individuals and couples and co-led a grief and loss support group. Additionally, I have participated in Sue Johnson's Hold Me Tight couple workshops and hold multiple credentials including from the Gottman Institute.

I consider myself a deeply caring listener and it's my goal to provide my clients with a safe and confidential place to talk about the most difficult things going on in their lives, assuring them they are not alone. I meet my clients right where they are, coming alongside their journey to find truth, healing and transformation.

If you are feeling stuck and ready to take the first step, I would love to hear from you.

The cross has a double meaning for my life. I am a Christian who operates my own life from this belief and value system; and most importantly, desires to emphasize love and grace. As a professionally trained counselor, I do not impose my beliefs and value system on my clients. I respect and honor each of my client's distinct backgrounds and beliefs that make them who they are. We are all on a unique journey, and I look forward to joining you in yours.
